Assignment 3

After reading the articles on the links provided I now know what makes up a good page layout and what elements can make a page bad. Good Web Page Design flows together. Everything is easy to find and read and links are easily identifiable. In a Good Page the readers know where they are, know what information can be found and where, and easily identify everything on the page. Bad Web Page Design has many flaws to the page which make it difficult or annyoying to go through. One of such elements is the default, or grey, layout of the page. It's boring to look at and most would rather surf elsewhere than your page. Another bad element is that the layout and text collide with each other, making the text hard to read aginst the background. I now know that I should have my page design a decent color so that the text is easy to read but the page looks inviting and interesting.

Assignment 2

During the Wright Brothers Glider assignment I learned many things. I learned new vocabulary such as Pitch, Roll, and Yaw which are all aeronautics terms which involve different axises the plane moves on. I learned that the Wright brothers had to face failures and change their designs the get the perfect glider. I learned that the curved plane wings aren't a new desin upgrade. That the Wright Brothers had to use this method to get and stay airborn. I also learned that their models had the pilot suspended in the middle of the craft, pulling strings to steer the aircraft. The Brothers had to constantly shift and add to their original design to make sure it was capable of flight, going further than the 1903 model.

Assignment 1

I learned that blogging is a fast growing way to connect with people around the world. I can search for blogs that have my intrests and read what another person has put. I can get a entirely different view on something I know about. Bloggers can find people with similar intrests and have conversations with them or just follow along with what they say if they agree. Blogs can be about any subject you want them to be. You can pour out you thoughts here without fear or most prejudices and you can do so anaonymously if you wish to. There are hardly any restrictions to what you can write about. Since the blogger site has started up millions of people have begun sharing things with one another over the web. A blog is my chance to do the same and communicate my ideas worldwide.
