It this particular case, the challenge is cardboard. This site was very descriptive and I can invision myself using it when it is time to do my prototype. The site said that what worked was the fact that they built a successful item out of cardboard. The material withstood the pressure. However, what did not work was cutting straight lines. One of the materials listed was a box cutter. This explains why the lines may not have been straight.
